Derwent Artists' Colour Pencil

This is the first colour pencil Derwent ever developed in the 1930s, originally called the No. 19 range. Its traditional round barrel and wide core makes it perfect for broad strokes and free, expressive drawing. Its slightly waxy texture is ideal for multiple layering and blending to produce an infinite spectrum of subtly different hues and tints. Available in tins of 12's, 24's and 36's

Derwent Colour Soft Colour Pencils

Colour Soft is the softest of pencils. The velvety softness of the core releases rich, dense colour at a stroke and is perfect for mixing and blending. Despite its soft texture, Coloursoft sharpens to a fine point and works equally well for detailed illustrations or bold, contemporary still-life drawings and portraiture. Available in tins of 12's, 24's and 36's

Faber Castell Polychromos Colour Pencils

These provide a particularly soft waterproof wax tip. The leads are not brittle, and can be sharpened to a very fine point allowing for filigree detail as well as being able to edit. Available in tins of 12's, 24's and 36's
